Jewel Petite Strawberry Cream Torte

A few months ago my mom was describing a cake my great aunt would make for every birthday based on a recipe from a cooking school in Chicago a lot of members of my mom’s family went to. This is basically the same thing. The frosting is WHIPPED CREAM. I grab a slice when it’s there as a treat for getting groceries.
