My mom has wanted to see the town her grandparents lived in for as at least as long as I’ve been alive so this summer my whole family is going. I found out the town is known for u pizzettu di gelato aka a piece ice cream cake which feels so right considering most of my birthday m cakes growing up were of the ice cream variety. Checking off a multigenerational bucket list item AND eating ice cream (sorry, gelato)- what could be better?
