
Lately when I find myself mindlessly scrolling I put my phone down and sit in the chair by my window and look outside. I watch the leaves swaying, traffic passing (and running the stop sign), a guy on a bike with a corgi in a backpack went by recently. Learning a lot about my neighbors and resetting by looking at the nature around me in this concrete jungle. I'm hearing there are cognitive benefits to this but just trust me and try it.
